How to Ruin your Life

The Subtle Art of Unknowingly Ruining Your LifeT

We cannot force the reflection which is our reality , to change, as much as we cannot force the image in the mirror to smile.

But yet we always trying to change the reflection.

Let’s be honest. We all are, without realizing it, artists of our own undoing. It's like accidentally adding too much salt to a recipe – a slight misstep that changes the whole flavor of our days.

Every day, we perform little rituals that can either lift us up or weigh us down—skipping that morning meditation for a doom-scrolling session? That's a step in the sabotage tango.

Ignoring our intuition for the comfort of the familiar? That's like choosing to wear shoes that we know will give us blisters. It's the small choices that write the story of our lives.

Our comfort zones are like those cozy, sticky spider webs. They hold us in, convincing us that it's too scary to break free. But here's the twist: the web is not made of steel; it's just thread. Every time we dare to step out, we find that what holds us back isn't a barrier but a gentle, breakable boundary.

Our beliefs are like the invisible hands shaping our lives. Sometimes, they construct palaces; other times, they build mazes with no exits.

When we cling too tightly to beliefs that don't serve us, we're like sailors navigating by stars that lead us in circles. Let's be mindful about what we choose to believe. Remember, the belief that 'life is tough' can turn an ant hill into Mount Olympus.

The Perils of Permanent Positivity

I want to touch here on a subject that is an invisible destroyer of our peace and success.

Imagine positivity as sunshine. In just the right amount, it nourishes and invigorates. But what happens when it's always high noon in the land of our minds? When we insist on constant positivity, we risk sunburn.

We're talking about the kind of relentless optimism that dismisses life's storms and ignores the lessons they bring. It's like wearing rose-colored glasses in a thunderstorm and wondering why we can't see the lightning.

Fairy Tales vs. Real Tales

We all love a good story with a happy ending. But when we expect our lives to unfold like a fairy tale, we set ourselves up for disappointment. Life is not a series of perfectly scripted scenes. It's more like improvisational theater, unpredictable and raw. Believing that every frog is a prince or every challenge is a dragon to be slain can leave us ill-prepared for the realities of life's complex journey.

The Balance Beam of Belief

Walking the line between self-sabotage and fairy-tale naivety is like balancing on a beam. Lean too far in either direction, and we tumble. It's about finding that sweet spot of hopeful realism – where we can dream big and stay grounded, embrace positivity while making room for the full spectrum of human emotions.

And here comes the BIG thing that we should remember its moment:

Ready?

Here it is: Life is meaningless.

Yes, it is. LIFE has any meaning WE give to life.

By creation or definition, it has no meaning; it is neutral.

So next time you get into this slippery slope of giving any meaning, STOP and consider why you give the meaning you do.

If you like it, go on. If it brings you Joy, by all means, go on! But if it is not Joy or something you would choose for your own life, strip it of any meaning and leave it to dissolve.

Closing Thoughts

Just a hint of understanding each moment where you are in this reality that You created is to ask the question: does this thing that I am doing or I am about to do bring me Joy and excitement? If the answer is No, then you know what to do 😘

Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer.
